POLYAMIDE 12 HIPHL/PHL/PHLY DIN 74324 & 73378 HOSE
Manufactured for more than 40 years from oil sources (Laurynlactam), PA12 is a techno-polymer used in highly demanding applications on account of its excellent
properties:

PA 12 is widely used in air-brake systems for truck and trailers, automotive fuel lines, fluid and gas (including compressed air) lines where chemical resistance
and strength are crucial.
DIN 74324 is the norm which defined methods for testing the requirements of polyamide hoses used in air-brake systems.

INFORMATION ON STANDARDS
DIN 73378
The standard that defines testing methods for polyamide tubes designed for fuel transfer on motor vehicles. Tubes manufactured using all varieties of the PA6, PA11, PA12 raw materials having different characteristics meet this standard.
DIN 74324
The standard that defines testing methods for polyamide tubes designed for use in air braking systems. Tubes manufactured using a number of types of the PA6, PA11, PA12 raw materials having different characteristics meet this standard.
ISO 7628
The international standard that defines testing methods for thermoplastics tubing manufactured from PA11, PA12, co-polyester and elastomer materials and used in fuel transfer and air braking systems on road vehicles, and covers the same test methods as the DIN 73378 / 74324.
ISO 7375
The international standard covering coiled tube assemblies for air braking systems, and covers the same test methods as the DIN 74324. Tubes manufactured using a number of types of the PA11, PA12, co-polyester and elastomer raw materials having different characteristics meet this standard.
