C.Flex - Polyurethane

There are a number of types of thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) materials used in technical applications:
• Polyester-based TPU
• Polyether-based TPU

Properties:
• Excellent resistance to abrasion
• Extraordinary flexibility (low Modulus of Elasticity) even at low temperatures (-40°C)
• Excellent resistance to tear, cutting and perforation
• Good mechanical properties
• Excellent kinking behavior providing small bending radius
• Very good transparency
• Oil and grease resistance
TPU products are used in a wide range of applications such as tubes, films, shoe soles, etc. owing to its resistance to abrasion and extreme flexibility. TPU is used
in c.Flex tubes.
